The Cast is Coming Off!!

Here is Douglas my son! He is so excited that his cast is coming off today! These pictures are for my mom who wanted to see pictures of the cast. Hopefully the doctor doesn't see him jumping, woops!!

Las Vegas Print Competition Closer Look

There is mystery in the shadows. It may be dark but I love how the little girl pops out of the darkness and then kind of fades into it as she waits for the ceremony to begin.

I loved the feeling of this one as she walks down the hall to the ceremony. Plus the details in the dress were amazing with this one.

This is a beautiful portrait of Jaclyn getting her dress tied. I did this one in November of 2005.

This year I also entered the WPPI 16x20 print competition. There were over 2700 entries and only one grand prize winner per category. I ended up getting the Award of Excellence for three prints that I entered. Thought you guys would like a closer look!

Leslie and Drew

I headed down to the Old Town Orange for Leslie and Drew's engagement session. Leslie and Drew are planning a June wedding. I just loved this session, the colors and of course the couple is adorable. They met here because it holds special meaning for them. Leslie lived one way from the circle and Drew the other way. They met there on there second date. It really was a great location and we had great diffuse lighting which is always great!

Lots of great photos to choose from with this loving couple. These images are bit more contemporary but I hope you like them!! Thanks to Leslie and Drew for letting me play and have fun!

Tyler and Jenni

On Saturday I headed to my favorite park to shoot with Tyler and Jenni. They are getting married at the end of July. I am so happy to be shooting their wedding. I shot Jenni's sister Katies wedding along with her brother Bills wedding last summer. I feel like I am part of the family now! This self proclaimed "goofy" couple is so much fun to work with (as you can see). Stay tuned for their wedding photos to come!

Jen and Aaron

Jen and Aaron are so much fun!!! I loved this session they definately kept it interesting. I can't wait for their special day in June, I can't wait to see there passion again. You have got to love a couple that loves to kiss this much. Their wedding is on June 30th. They are a great couple, hopefully you enjoy your sneak peak at your photos.

We just got back last week from beautiful Maui! We enjoyed every minute of it. It was so relaxing and the kids loved the luau and the snorkeling, especially the swimming. My husband even wants to move there, which is a little odd, it was beautiful but I don't think we will be going anywhere. We got back and four days later my son broke his foot on Saturday! We are just so happy that it happened after the trip and not before. Poor Doug...

So here is the long awaited Vegas post. I got a new little point and shoot

for this little excursion. It was great to be able to bring that around instead of the big honking thing I usually carry around. Not quite as good quality though so sorry about that. I had a great time in Vegas getting geared up for the season. I have a lot of fun stuff that I want to do and I have a lot more awards I want to win.
